Ultrasound Detection Training

Failure Prevention Associates offers training for Level 1 certification in ultrasound detection. Level 2 certification courses have also been done and are currently in the planning stages. Ultrasound detection is a non-destructive testing technique used to find discontinuities in materials. The course is open to anyone who wants to learn more about ultrasound detection, though it may be especially useful for those who work with Ultrasonic equipment or who are looking to get certified in Ultrasonic Testing.

The course covers topics such as Ultrasonic Theory, Instrumentation, Calibration, Signal Analysis, Reporting, and more. Attendees can expect to come away from the course with a better understanding of how Ultrasonic Testing works and how to properly use Ultrasonic equipment. Certification is valid for three years and requires passing an exam.
